With a background in Public Health and a heart for underserved populations, Diana established TheRedHearts to eradicate period poverty, empowering women and girls globally.

David John Sam
Inspired by the struggles of women and girls facing period poverty, David, a high school student, launched TheRedHearts to create a world where menstrual health is accessible to all.
Our staff & volunteers
Our team is made up of two founders and nearly 17 volunteers across the globe including Tanzania, Uganda, Peru, Nepal, India, and the USA. We are expanding our presence in the global community by hiring dedicated volunteers across the globe.
Our history
The RedHearts was founded in 2021 during Covid pandemic to help the homeless community in California by proving sanitary and period products for women and children.
Our mission: "Eradicate Period Poverty"
RedHearts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential sanitary supplies to those in need. We believe that access to basic hygiene products is a fundamental human right, and we strive to make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged by delivering these vital resources to the communities that need them most.
The RedHearts is dedicated to improving the lives of those in need. Our mission is to provide resources and support to underserved communities and individuals.
